Danielle joined the Council in 2016 as Leader, Innovation and Engagement, supporting work related to teamwork, communication and culture change. Prior to joining the Council, she worked at Vancouver Coastal Health as the Evaluation Lead for Primary Health Care.
Danielle is passionate about improving our health care system. Whether it be creating change in Home Health or Primary Care, or coaching teams on how to improve culture through teamwork and communication, she loves to help find solutions to make our health care system more efficient and provide better care. She has worked as an evaluator for many years and is especially passionate about using data visualization to effectively communicate data and evaluation results.
Danielle holds a master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Minnesota and two bachelor’s degrees from Queen’s University. She is a graduate of BCPSQC’s Quality Academy and has training in facilitation, engagement, evaluation and conflict management. When she isn’t working, you can find her hiking a mountain, doing yoga or chasing her kids around.
