Donna joined the Council in January 2022 as a Program Assistant with the Health System Improvement team. Prior to joining the Council, she provided administrative and project support to paramedic and nurse teams working on remote worksites such as mines in Northern BC. She has experience working in Human Resources, Program Administration, and various customer service industries; however, her interests align with using collaborative and innovative practices to create a health care system that is integrated and rooted in meeting the needs of communities, patients, and healthcare providers.

Donna holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Health Sciences and a minor in Psychology. She is passionate about promoting equitable, accessible, and holistic health and well-being, especially to marginalized and vulnerable populations. During her spare time, you can find Donna volunteering in the community, exercising at the gym or on a sports field, adventuring outdoors with her friends and family, or cuddled with her dogs and a good book.
