Karen joined the Council in January 2016 as an Engagement Leader with a focus on Lower Mainland & Sunshine Coast communities. Previously, Karen held the role of Engagement Liaison for the Patient Voices Network, and is excited to continue supporting patient volunteers and health care partners.

Karen is passionate about community engagement and has extensive program and event coordination experience. Through her various roles working with diverse non-profit organizations, she has a comprehensive knowledge of local and provincial agencies. Karen brings forward a strong understanding of cultural sensitivity and prioritizes developing inclusive programs.
