Kate joined the Council in January 2022 as a Leader on the Learning and Capability Development Team.
Before joining the Council, she worked on medical education projects at the UBC’s Division of Continuing Professional Development (UBC CPD). She brings experience working on a variety of technology-enabled education programs across a range of different formats. She is passionate about finding the correct delivery model and conducting evaluation to ensure a high-quality learning experience for everyone’s participation.
Kate has a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences with a specialization in epidemiology from Queen’s University with a thesis project exploring access to family planning services in Haiti. She also has a certificate in Change Management from UBC and a certificate in Graphic Design from BCIT.
She enjoys travelling, trying new recipes and playing ultimate frisbee in her spare time.
