Kate joined Health Quality BC in January 2022 and is currently a Leader on the Health System Improvement Team working on Learning About Opioid Use Disorder (LOUD) Collaboratives.

Before joining HQBC, she worked on medical education projects at UBC’s Division of Continuing Professional Development (UBC CPD). She brings experience working on a variety of technology-enabled education programs across a range of different formats. She is passionate about improving healthcare by improving processes and empowering people to make a difference.

Kate is currently completing a Professional MBA from UBC and has a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences with a specialization in epidemiology from Queen’s University. She also has a Project Management Professional designation, a certificate in Change Management from UBC and a certificate in Graphic Design from BCIT.

She enjoys travelling, trying new recipes, curling and pickleball in her spare time.
