Leah comes to PVN from the Ministry of Health where she frequently worked with a broad range of stakeholders including patients, regulatory colleges, and health authorities to develop and implement provincial policy and programs. She has also worked for Island Health in quality and patient safety and holds a Master of Arts from Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador.

Leah believes that increased patient and public engagement is key to improving the quality of health care and ensuring health system sustainability. She’s excited to collaborate with and learn from patients and health care partners. In her spare time, Leah can be found hiking Vancouver Island with her family.
