Communications & Engagement Leader, Measurement System for Physician Quality Improvement


As a strategic communications consultant, Megan works with teams and leaders to distill concepts into accessible and meaningful information. She leverages strategic storytelling, stakeholder engagement, and design thinking principles to connect with audiences and inspire change.

Megan draws on 20 years of communications experience in information technology, retail, and health care sectors. Prior to joining the Council, she was a communications consultant with Interior Health, and provided communications strategy on numerous projects ranging from the adoption of MEDITECH, corporate use of social media, capital projects, and an organizational storytelling strategy.

Megan joined Health Quality BC March 2022 in its role as Secretariat for the Measurement System for Physician Quality Improvement (MSPQI). This initiative will provide physicians, health authorities and policy makers with the quality measures data to support their shared goals of better experiences for patients and health care providers, continuous quality improvement, and a cost-effective health system.

Megan holds a Master of Library and Information Science degree from the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Arts degree with a joint major in Gerontology and Political Science, from McMaster University.
