Rachelle joined the Council in June 2021 as Project Coordinator with the Patient and Public Engagement team. Prior to joining the Council, she worked for the National Health Service in England as a project manager. She has a background in project management, participation with children and young people, co-production and co-design of health services, and has previously worked on initiatives related to children and young peoples’ mental health, diabetes youth services, and clinical strategy development.
Rachelle holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and English from Simon Fraser University, a Social Services Worker Diploma from Langara College and is a certified PRINCE2® Practitioner.
Rachelle is passionate about moving towards a system-wide holistic health and social care approach, with the patient and family voice as a driving force in bringing about positive change. In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her family and friends, cooking and baking, and relaxing at the beach.
