Tammy joined the Council in August 2019 as the Director of Patient and Public Engagement. Prior to this, she spent 21 years at Northern Health, most recently leading the Northern Clinical Simulation program, development and delivery of Interprofessional Team training, and co-leading the BC SUPPORT Unit Northern Centre.

Tammy holds a Master of Arts in Leadership from Royal Roads University. She has completed training in Lean, Coaching Out-of-the-Box, IAP2 Facilitation and Methodology, San’yas Indigenous Cultural Safety, and Patient Oriented Research, and is a graduate of the BCPSQC Quality Academy. In addition, she was an active facilitator for the National Curriculum on Patient Oriented Research, Core Linx, and is a Crossfit Level 1 Coach.

Tammy is the mother of two beautiful daughters and enjoys spending time with her family, camping, hiking, running and coaching at CrossFit Prince George. She is passionate about supporting others to lead a healthy lifestyle through physical activity.
