Your responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing FH’s Innovation Strategy in alignment with organizational priorities and in partnership with Executive Team and senior leaders;
- Identifying, establishing and overseeing innovation infrastructure to govern, manage and spread innovation in FH;
- Providing guidance, coordinating and monitoring a portfolio of innovation initiatives and working collaboratively with teams and corporate support groups;
- Identifying and managing resources and budgets allocated to innovation; developing budget reports and schedules for monitoring; variance analysis of all assigned aspects of the portfolio and reporting regularly to the sponsor(s).
As the successful candidate you have a Master’s degree in Health/Business Administration, Engineering, Biomedical Sciences or related discipline supplemented with project and change management courses. You have ten years’ experience including at least five in an innovation role (ideally in a health technology incubator/accelerator environment). You are also experienced at supervising others. A valid BC Drivers’ License and access to a vehicle is necessary for local travel.
Your in-depth knowledge of the health care system at strategic and operational levels will position you well for success in this exciting, dynamic role. This regular position is based out of our Central City Offices in Surrey, BC and will involve travel throughout the lower mainland.
