6th Resilient Health Care Meeting
The theme of the 6th Resilient Health Care Meeting (RHCN6) is: “Make it so: enacting resilience in everyday work.”
Practitioners constantly adjust what they do to match their work conditions. Facilitating flexibility and adaptability, and actively supporting practitioners to deliver care more effectively, is central to resilient health care. The purpose of the Resilient Health Care Initiative (RHCN) is to facilitate the interaction and collaboration among people who are interested in applying Resilience Engineering to health care – practitioners and researchers alike.
The meeting will be held at UBC and includes three days of “short presentations and long conversations.” Check out the program here to read about the presentation topics. (There is also a pre-conference workshop on August 13 and a one-day conference hosted by WorkSafeBC – “Creating foresight: emergent views on risk and resilience” – on August 17.)
