CLwK.ca: A New, Improved Online Resource for Improving Health Care in BC

We’re pleased to tell you about an exciting development in how we can share and connect online!

Connecting Learners with Knowledge (formerly known as CL’cK) was a pilot project supported by BC’s health authorities and funded by the BC Health Education Foundation two years ago to provide a home for health care providers to share resources. Part of the project was a website, CLwK.ca. This resource has grown considerably and recently welcomed the BC Patient Safety & Quality Council (BCPSQC) as a partner to sustain the site and ensure that this resource grows and meets the needs of service providers.

We’re passionate about making CLwK.ca the best possible resource for you, so we’re updating the website with a new design and improved functionality to help continue our goal of facilitating knowledge sharing and learning across the province (and beyond).

Moving forward, the BCPSQC’s website www.QExchange.ca, which hosts its own communities of practice dedicated to improving areas of care, will be merged with the updated CLwK.ca. With your support, the range of resources and communities will expand. We are excited about the potential!

Our goal is for CLwK.ca to be the online destination for health care professionals to:

  • find important resources to guide their practice;
  • share resources with colleagues in their practice area, wherever that might be within the province; and
  • actively participate in a community of practice to problem solve and share resources with colleagues in their areas of care.

In the coming weeks, we will send another email to provide an update on both the CLwK and QExchange websites, and the ‘Go-Live’ date for the new CLwK.ca.

Thank you for your ongoing support of innovative ways of sharing and connecting. We look forward to sharing and connecting on the new platform with you!
