Got a Quality Improvement Project? Hire a Summer Student Intern!
We’re thrilled to open our sixth annual call for proposals for summer student internships in quality improvement. This program supports teams in health care organizations to hire a fully-funded intern to advance their projects aimed at improving the health care system, while building the capacity of future quality improvement leaders.
Any team from a publicly-funded health care organization is eligible to submit a proposal for a quality improvement project that would benefit from the support of an intern. Here are the projects that we funded last year.
Projects must have a clearly defined role for the intern and offer a meaningful learning opportunity about the process of improving health care quality. Teams must have a designated supervisor who will oversee the work of the student during their internship, and will be responsible for providing space, supplies, and any other resources necessary to complete the project. To learn about the criteria for evaluating project proposals, visit our Internships page.
Submit your project proposal by April 5! Successful teams will be notified by mid-April.
