We’re excited to announce that we are now accepting abstracts for Quality Forum 2020!
Ask anyone who has previously attended the Quality Forum, and they’ll tell you one of the most exciting parts of the event is the opportunity to learn from all kinds of people from across the health care spectrum. The Forum’s rapid fire presentations and storyboards provide a chance for any person or group to share their quality improvement work.
We’re interested in a wide variety of topics, as long as it’s related to providing better care for patients, fostering a high-quality health system or creating better environments for those who work within it. Whether the project is large or small, a budding idea or a fully completed initiative – we want to hear about it!
Our Call for Abstracts is your chance to tell the health care community (in our province and beyond!) about your success stories and new learnings, and even receive input from the innovative thinkers and thought leaders that attend the Forum.
You can submit an abstract for a rapid fire oral presentation or a storyboard (or both!) in one of two categories:
- Have you been working on an improvement project that’s taught you some valuable lessons you’d like to share? Submit your abstract in the Outcomes category. What strategies did you use to create and measure change? What challenges did you face? What did you learn? This is a great opportunity to share your learnings. Failures count, too!
- Do you have an original idea or a promising practice for improving care that you’d like to get off the ground? That sounds perfect for the Ideas category. What impact do you hope it will have? What’s innovative about it? Share your thinking and seek input from the group – you may find like minds (and fresh perspectives!) who are interested in collaborating with you.
What do we need from you? Get the details here and submit your abstracts by Friday, September 6, 2019. We can’t wait to hear your ideas!
Want to help us spread the word about the Call for Abstracts? We’ve put together a helpful poster with all the information needed to put together an abstract. Download our poster and share it with your communities!Download the Poster
