Nominate a project or individual for a Gold Apple or Award of Merit
The Health Employers Association of BC (HEABC) is accepting nominations for its 2019 BC Health Care Awards. These annual awards celebrate excellence and innovation in BC health care and recognize teams and individuals who go above and beyond in providing outstanding care and support.
Over the past 12 years, HEABC has awarded health care employees with more than 220 Gold Apples and Awards of Merit, celebrating professionals from point-of-care workers to those who operate behind the scenes. Awards are for projects improving health care delivery and for individuals making a positive impact and inspiring those around them. Award categories are: Top Innovation, Workplace Health Innovation, Collaborative Solutions, Dianna Mah-Jones Award of Excellence in Person-Centred Care and Health Care Heroes.
We believe it’s important to celebrate innovative health care ideas and successes, and that they’re often achieved by working together. That’s why this year we’re proud to sponsor the Collaborative Solutions award, which celebrates a project or best practice that harnesses the collective efforts of a collaborative team that yielded positive incomes. This collaboration could be within one site or across multiple sites and with non-health partners, interregional projects or team collaborations.
