The Joint Clinical Committees and the BC Patient Safety & Quality Council invite you to participate at the upcoming Summit on Surgical Improvement: Advancing Pre-Surgical Optimization and Enhanced Recovery.

The summit will feature keynote speakers, breakout sessions, and opportunities for participants to contribute towards an action plan on how we will improve the experience and outcomes for elective surgical patients in BC by integrating care, with a focus on the pre-surgical optimization of patients and spreading the adoption of pathways like Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS). We invite you to join us in collaborating on proposed coordinated provincial supports and resources to help surgical teams accelerate adoption and spread.

The full-day summit includes opportunities to coordinate care across providers by expanding surgical pathways to include pre-surgical optimization for patients in BC and launching action plans on the spread of Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS).
