Healthy Mothers and Healthy Babies Conference

Innovation and equity: The foundation to quality perinatal care in 2020

This conference is hosted by Perinatal Services BC, a part of the Provincial Health Services Authority. It is an exciting meeting of the minds; an opportunity for health care professionals interested in the care of pregnant and postpartum women and their newborns to be updated on new research and innovative clinical best practices across the continuum, from preconception to postpartum and newborn care. The patient voice and experience and equitable care will be themes in this conference of hot topics – an event to engage health care professionals from a wide range of disciplines and equip them with the latest evidence and tools to promote the health of mothers and babies. The format will include plenaries, breakout sessions, poster sessions and networking opportunities. Don’t miss out on this stimulating event!

Learning Objectives:

  2. Analyze current surveillance strategies and describe system improvements in perinatal services that are relevant to improving maternal/fetal and newborn equitable outcomes.
