Team Up! Tools for Teams: Real-Time Virtual Supports for BC

Register below!

Sign up for our last Team Up! Team-Based Primary & Community Care in Action webinar of 2021! Dr. Brydon Blacklaws and Katrina Bepple from the Rural Coordination Centre of BC (RCCbc) will give an overview and demonstration of the Real-Time Virtual Support service. Real-Time Virtual Support (RTVS) pathways enhance health equity in rural, remote, and First Nations communities across British Columbia by connecting rural healthcare providers and patients to RTVS Virtual Physicians via Zoom or telephone. There are two types of pathways—those for healthcare providers, and those for patients. This was a popular talk at Quality Forum earlier this year and we are pleased to be able to offer it again. Join us for this encore presentation that will highlight the continued expansion of supports that RTVS provides and learn how this could be a tool for your team.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Learn about the Real-Time Virtual Support service for rural, remote and First Nations communities in BC.
  2. Relate your experience(s) with team-based care to others working in primary and community care teams across BC.
  3. Identify opportunities for strengthening team-based care at your local sites.
