Colin Ross is a geneticist who works to understand how personalized medicine can make medicines safer and more effective for patients. Up to two-thirds of childhood cancer survivors can have a long-term side effect from their treatments, due to the different ways our bodies respond to medication, and adverse drug reactions are the fourth leading cause of death. Colin’s work explores the relationships between our DNA and our reactions to medication.
