Naheed Dosani & Stephen Pomedli – Where is Technology Taking Health Care?

Naheed and Stephen are medical residents at the University of Toronto. The duo was one of eight presentations — delivered by speakers representing both health care and the public — to use the exciting Pecha Kucha format to answer our question: What are your hopes for health care?

Naheed Dosani is a second-year Family Medicine Resident with the Department of Family & Community Medicine at the University of Toronto and serves as Co-Chief Resident of St. Michael’s Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program. He teaches undergraduate medical students, represents his peers with the Family Medicine Residents Association of Toronto and is active with Students for Medicare. Naheed is passionate about the social determinants of health, inner city health, global health and social media.

Steve Pomedli is a second-year Family Medicine Resident with the Department of Family & Community Medicine at the University of Toronto. He is particularly interested in health systems, policies and processes, and is engaged in health care innovation through technology and social media. He is excited to be undertaking a fellowship in Global Health & Vulnerable Populations through the University of Toronto during the upcoming year.
