Integration of Research and Improvement

Date: September 23, 2016
Filed under: Quality Café, Sharpen Your Skills, Webinar

Clinical research methods and quality improvement methods are different ways to apply the scientific method. Good research incorporates elements of quality improvement, and good quality improvement involves attention to research methods. More careful integration of these methods can accelerate improvements in health care and health. This Quality Café will focus on the complementary components of these two methods of learning.

By the end of this session, participants will be able to describe the intersection of research and quality improvement in health care and contribute to the integration of both of these in their health care learning system.
