Zach Berman: Turning Passion into Practice
Zach Berman is the co-founder of The Juice Truck, Vancouver. The Juice Truck launched in 2011 and was Canada’s first Cold Pressed Juice Bar. They’ve since grown to have 4 plant-based cafes and 2 food trucks with plans for more cafes in the upcoming years. Zach co-authored an aptly titled book “The Juice Truck: A Guide to Juicing, Smoothies, Cleanses and Living a Plant-Based Life” with Penguin Random House in 2017.
He was also named the top 30 under 30 with BC Business in 2014. The Juice Truck was named as one of the best Juice Bars in the world by Conde Nast Traveller. Zach is an avid traveller, cyclist, and podcast listener. Prior to his juicing life, Zach graduated from Emily Carr with a BFA, majoring in Painting and worked in his father’s architectural cast glass business, Joel Berman Glass Studios.
